Wednesday Wonders: Pitching Words

Topics: AdventuresBlogUncategorizedwordsWriting

This Wednesday, I need to pause the blog while I madly craft a query letter, hoping to be chosen and learning from the jump into the unknown.

If you have a book of your own to pitch, check out Brenda Drake’s Pitch Wars. It’s quite the writing adventure she has put together.

I’ll let you know how it went next week!

May you make your best pitch and round the bases when you get up to bat,

And just because I found it in my image search…

Good luck. I have my fingers crossed for you.
And I just said a prayer.

Congrats on sending in that query! Any news? Loved the movie trailer, but I always feel like they show the whole movie. 🙂

They are announcing the ‘mentees’ on August 25th. I am trying to be still inside and have made myself a backup plan even as I plug away at two other drafts. But, of course, I am not still inside and would love to be chosen out of those of us pitching this round. Thank you for asking! (And, yes, they do show a lot of good parts in those trailers.)
