Book Review: Bob by Wendy Mass and Rebecca Stead

Topics: Book review
Cover of Bob
I loved this sweet story by Mass and Stead about a girl and her magical creature Bob that she had forgotten in a closet for 5 years.
I wish I had a friend like him to remember and play chess with right about now.
I’ve just given up on another adult story because I am quite sure the heroine is going to have to kill her pet goat to survive in the wilderness and I cannot face it.
If you don’t have a magical creature for me, I would take a good book recommendation. Something like BOB or THE OUTCASTS OF 19 SCHUYLER PLACE or HOOT or HOLES.
You know. One where the pets don’t get killed and eaten.
I’m off to clean a closet for now. Maybe I’ll find Bob in there. It’s pretty messy. Could happen.
